PSNC, the natural gas company in my area, has just received approval to raise rates by 11% this winter. I doubt I'm the only one planning to beef up the insulation in my house over the next few weeks.

Megan and I already ordered a Delonghi oil-filled space heater for our cold, vaulted-ceiling bathroom so we can keep the house temperature lower without freezing to death getting ready in the morning. My parents got one of these little heaters last winter and love it.
