Over hyped gas prices

Gas Prices in Perspective is an interesting article I came across that analyzes the current obsession with gas prices. The author compares the potential savings to be had by shopping around for cheap gas to shopping around for other common purchases. The graphs speak for themselves in showing that we could save much more money by focusing at least a little attention on the prices of other things we buy. The graphs, calculations, and eighteen footnotes also show the author doesn't fool around when he decides to analyze something.
