A warranty that costs more than the product

clock.jpg Sometimes I'm simply amazed at how cheap some things can be manufactured these days.  Take this little clock for example.  I wanted a cheap clock to hang in the garage and I found this one at Wal-Mart for $3.95.  It was easy to hang, easy to set, takes only one AA battery, and works great.

The ridiculous aspect of this clock is the warranty printed on the back of the box.  Apparently, if this clock ever falls off the wall I'm going to have to box it up, pay for postage, find my receipt, and pay $5.00 for handling to get my $3.95 clock repaired.  Or maybe, just maybe I'll buy a brand new one at Wal-Mart.
