Global warming expedition called off due to frostbite

Two women explorers who were trekking across Antarctica to document and raise awareness about global warming called it quits after one "suffered frostbite in three of her toes and extreme cold temperatures drained the batteries in some of their electronic equipment." I couldn't even make up a more ridiculous story.

The article ends with the obligatory quote about how global warming doesn't have anything to do with warming at all; it really just means the weather is unpredictable (i.e. climate change). Never mind that dear Kyoto is premised on the idea that increased CO2 emissions are trapping too much heat in the earth's atmosphere.

Those out to save the world from capitalism apparently can't be bothered by consistency and logic. If CO2 in the atmosphere is trapping heat and causing cold weather, well that's just the way it is, comrade.
